PhoneInsurance.com will sell cell phone insurance and tablet pc insurance plans online. We're a new company in a growing sector. We have the best domain name possible for what we do and a new hot logo!
We specifically target cell phone users, but we are narrowing our market to focus on iPhone users, blackberry users, Nexus One users, and the growing Tablet PC market.
Web 2.0 Look and feel!
Our aim is educate (and sell) visitors on their need for supplemental cell phone insurance because their warranties do not cover lost, stolen, or damaged, phones.
We want you to use our new logo (attached in this brief), and you MUST use the colors of the logo in your design.
We want a white background (see ensquared.com, for example) for the website.
You must follow the layout example that we have designed in the word document attached to this brief. It is very specific. But be creative with your choice of images, and graphics.
We want a new homepage design (don't even go look at our current design because we're scrapping it). The design should incorporate our new logo and have a very modern (web 2.0) look and feel to it. We have included a hompage sample layout for placement of links and images. Our top horizontal links will be: Home, iPhone Insurance, Blackberry Insurance, Nexus One Insurance, Other Brands, Pricing, Coverage. We really want a fantastic looking link menu!
Some of our competitor sites include:
We want a site search box in the top right corner, and our logo (included in this brief) in the top left corner. We want an image to dominate the left side of the page (see asurion.com for an example). The right hand side bar should use graphics to highlight those services offered.
Below the left side image will be space for a static article that will introduce consumers to phone insurance.
And the bottom of the page will include a link menu with links running in columns. We'll also want to add twitter, facebook, and other social networking icons in this area.
At the very bottom of the page please include a copyright 2011 PhoneInsurance.com
Internal page: keep everything the same as the homepage but remove the large image at the top left of the page.
Don't even look at the existing website, it will be deleted soon.
ensquared.com - we like their use of images, such as the iphone.
asurion.com - we like the way they use an image with text overlayed on the image on the top left of the homepage.
