Che cosa evitare
Designs that look like a generic theme or a template website. I'm sure everyone has a different definition of a website that looks like a template. This site looks like a template. http://kspainrelief.com/ I believe it's the stacked approach with very popular elements in very specific places, i.e., the logo in the left, nav underneath, full width or 960px wide leader image/rotator, a couple rows of content divided into thirds, halves, etc. We'd like to avoid this approach and come up with a concept that's just a little different, while being clear and providing the information in an easy to digest design.
FYI. Agreements & Cost Sheets has been unclear in some design submissions. Below is the information about Agreements & Costs sheets on the current website. We won't want all of this on the home page, but this gives you an idea of what it's for:
"If you are a member of our Chapter, or an authorized guest, you can view or download every Labor Agreement we administer. Go to the "Member" icon and search for an agreement via the geographical map. You can also download an economic cost factor sheet for each agreement (listed under summaries) that details the wages and benefits offered under each labor agreement."
So, Agreements & Cost Sheets could go along with a login to members area form.
We'll keep this updated and begin rating designs and providing feedback.
Thank you in advance. Happy designing!
