BÄST-i-TEST.se needs a new logo

"Bäst i Test" (Swedish for best in test) is a consumer guidance website where we test and review a wide range of different consumer products like electronics, make-up, exercise equipment, outdoor sports equipment, household appliances and more.

"Bäst i test" (Swedish for best in test) is a young, fast growing consumer guidance website where we test and review a wide range of different consumer products present in several countries. We now want to upgrade our graphic look and intend to start by replacing our current logo with a new. Our values and message: We want our new logo to convey enthusiasm, friendliness, quality, competence, objectivity, diligence, success and smartness. We would also like the logo to somehow communicate that we review and grade products to present the best consumer choice. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Our current logo uses the colors green and black but we want our new logo to explore new colors and designs. Our current logo features a hand giving a “thumbs-up” (attached below) to convey the message. The new logo could include a thumbs-up but may very well display some other symbol to communicate our message. Please feel free to explore beyond the thumb! In this competition the goal is to find a logo for our websites that communicates our values. In a second step of our graphic upgrade (a separate competition, or a follow up work for this winner) we will request a "quality badge" for use with the test winning products. The badge will be used by both us and product manufacturers for their marketing and PR towards consumers. We believe that the extension with the "quality badge" is good to have in mind in this logo competition since we want the logo and the badge to align in the message to the reader. Note that our site is available in several countries and must be adaptable to each domain.
