Meriggio is an italian slow food restaurant/caffé/bar based in Paris. The word "Meriggio" has different meanings in Italian: "noon","the hottest hour of the day" "zenith". It's also a verb, "Meriggiare", which means to rest at noon time. Our concept is to import italian products (wine, ham, parmesan cheese) directly from small producers, without intermediaries. The idea is to offer traditionnal italian products in a modern and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant will be open all day long (breakfast in the morning, slow food lunch and wine bar in the evening), and will also propose a grocery corner.
