This Logo should be a product label to present products that we would rate to be „enkelfähig“ (translated: grandchildable). Products that pay into a future worth living, that are in balance between economy and environment. enkelfähig is a kind of mindset for Haniel, giving Haniel ist purpose (creating value for generations) and defining its mission (building sustainable businesses for a future worth living).In these regards we evaluate all our products in the group‘s companies in 5 different criteria: profitability, climate change, circularity, biodiversity and innovation. We thereby want to ensure that our solution offerings pay into this future worth living and help making the world a better place (e.g. carbon footprint of a product should be way below other existing alternativesto reduce climate impact). We want to proof that we can earn money in being sustainable. GERMAN VERSION: Das Logo dient der Auszeichnung von Produkten (product label), die als "enkelfähig" bewertet werden, und damit in eine lebenswerte Zukunft einzahlen. enkelfähig ist für Haniel eine Haltung, die dem Unternehmen seinen Purpose gibt (creating value for generations) und woraus Haniel seine Mission ableitet (building sustainable businesses for a future worth living). In diesem Zusammenhang bewerten die Unternehmen in der Haniel Gruppe ihre eigenen Produkte, Services und Dienstleistungen nach 5 verschiedenen enkelfähigen Kriterien (Profitability, Climate Change, Circularity, Biodiversity und Innovation), um dafür zu sorgen, dass die angebotenen Lösungen auf eben diese lebenswerte Zukunft einzahlen (bspw. den CO2 Fußabdruck im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Lösungen reduzieren, oder dem Klimawandel sogar entgegenwirken). Wir wollen beweisen, dass man mit Nachhaltigkeit Geld verdienen kann.
