Mit dem Logo möchte ich die Konzentration auf Bücher rund ums Meer und seine Bewohner ausdrücken. Das bisherige Logo zeigt Bücher. Das ist nicht das, was ich sagen will. Ich suche ein natürliches Symbol für das Meer und seine Bewohner.D.h. eher Fische, Haiflosse, Tintenfisch als Leuchtturm oder Anker. In meiner Vorstellung gibt es eine reduzierte Wellenlinie. Ein weiterer wichtiger Anforderungs-Punkt ist ein Hochformat bzw. leichtes Querformat des Logos, damit es auf Buchrücken passt. I want the logo to express the fact that the focus of my range of books is on the ocean and its inhabitants. The current logo shows books. That’s not what I want to express. What I am looking for is a natural symbol for the ocean and its inhabitants i.e. more on the lines of a fish, shark fin or octopus rather than a light house or an anchor. What I have in mind is a reduced wavy line, but that is just an idea. It could also be a stylised fish or even a shark fin, particularly as sharks have been the main focus of my books to date. A further important requirement is that the logo be vertical or only slightly horizontal, so that it fits onto the spine of the books.
