ENGLISH We are a men's choir with 20 members from an Austrian village with about 2,000 inhabitants. We sing classical and modern songs, ecclesiastical and mundane, in several languages. Moreover, we organize several events each year. You can find our current LOGO and our website at https://www.mgv-strengberg.at/ Our choir has a 100-year history of singing, comradeship and social events – topics which we shall pursue also in the future. However, we do need a boost of enthusiasm, attractivity and modernity to also attract new and young singers! This shall also be reflected in the new logo, to leave antiquated tradition and the past behind. Therefore, the new logo shall be totally different from the old one. For a Slogan to be incorporated into the logo, we have had some ideas, German plays on words: un:er:hört (unheard of) chor:fürs:ohr (choir for the ear) er:klingt (er = he; klingt = sounds; erklingt = it sounds good) GERMAN Wir sind ein Männerchor aus einem 2000-Einwohner-Dorf im Mostviertel mit ca. 20 Mitgliedern und wir singen klassische bis moderne Lieder, weltlich und kirchlich, auch in verschiedenen Sprachen, und führen jedes Jahr verschiedene Veranstaltungen durch. Unser aktuelles LOGO und unsere Homepage findest du hier: https://www.mgv-strengberg.at/ Unser Verein lebt aus einer 100- jährigen Geschichte mit GESANG und GESELLIGKEIT – diese beiden Themen sollen uns auch in Zukunft begleiten. Dennoch brauchen wir einen gewaltigen Schub an BEGEISTERUNG, ATTRAKTIVITÄT und MODERNITÄT, um für neue und junge Sänger interessant zu werden! Das soll sich auch im neuen LOGO widerspiegeln und angestaubte Traditionen hinter uns zu lassen! – Daher soll das neue LOGO auch was völlig anderes als das alte sein. Für einen Slogan, der ins Logo eingebaut werden soll, haben wir folgende Ideen: un:er:hört chor:fürs:ohr er:klingt Für weitere Ideen sind wir aber offen.
