--- Deutsches Briefing weiter unten--- This is a logo relaunch. We are a stationary beverage retailer with 130 shops. We sell the whole range from water, beer, juice, pop, liquors and wine. As a family business with 25 years experience we are market leader and therefore well known in the county, so we should not vary from the existing logo too much- people need to be able to recognise us (keep the colors yellow and black). We would like to attract families and younger people (25-35) more, but should not forget that the typical customer so far is 40+ and male. We would like to appear as professionals/experts regarding beverages, which is why customers should chose us: the advice and service-, in comparison to the often cheaper competitors (discounters). The font of the existing logo definitely needs to change. We would also like to have some sort of icon with it to use (right now you see the sun rise behind the logo), but since the word is so long and the logo so delicate, we often have problems when we use the logo on small things like coins. Maybe it is an option to separate the words “Getränke” and “Land” to reduce the length of the logo. The slogan “erfrischend anders” (refreshingly different) should be part of the logo and is also part of what should be transported visually. Es handelt sich um einen Logo Relaunch. Wir sind eine Getränkeabholmarktkette mit 130 Standorten. Wir verkaufen alles von Wasser bis Spirituosen, Säfte, Limos, Bier usw. Als Familienunternehmen, das seit 25 Jahren besteht, sind wir in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Marktführer und den Leuten dementsprechend bekannt, weshalb das neue Logo einen Wiedererkennungswert haben muss (gelb/schwarz beibehalten). Wir würden gerne jüngeres Publikum (25-35) und Familien in unsere Läden ziehen, dürfen aber dabei nicht vergessen, dass der durchschnittliche Kunde zurzeit eher 40+ und männlich ist. Wir möchten mehr als Fachmarkt auftreten, der Expertise und Vielfalt in der Getränkewelt mitbringt und sich durch Beratung und Service von der oft günstigeren Konkurrenz (Disounter) abhebt. Die Schriftart des Logos soll auf jeden Fall geändert werden und es wäre schön ein zusätzliches Icon zu haben, das man benutzen kann. Zurzeit ist dies die „Sonne“ die hinter dem Logo aufgeht. Auch haben wir Probleme mit dem bestehenden Logo, wenn wir es auf kleine Artikel drucken wollen (z. B. Einkaufswagenchips), weil es zu lang und filigran ist. Vielleicht ist es also eine Option „Getränke“ und „Land“ zu trennen, um das Logo kompakter zu gestalten. Der Spruch „erfrischend anders“ soll Teil des Logos sein und sich auch in der Erscheinung des Logos widerspiegeln.

NEW: We would need the logo to fit on a sign outside of our stores (above the door) which is 4mx1m so 4 meters wide and 1 meter high- maybe you could adapt that? Connected to that a white background is not feasible for us. See attachments.

Attached you find the current logo and additional the icon (the sun) we use. The colors now are: Anbei das derzeitige Logo sowie die Sonne, die wir als icon benutzen.
