MotivaçãoColetiva (a Rio-based startup) needs a cool site design!

We are a Rio de Janeiro, Brazil-based startup. Our name, MotivaçãoColetiva, means group motivation, which is a play on the words "group buying" (or "compras coletivas" in Portuguese). We're developing a Web application to help small and medium-sized businesses in Brazil motivate their employees through a system of giving & receiving perks in the form of discounts to restaurants, gyms, and other merchants that employees use. We will partner with merchants and vendors that supply the perks, and our paying customers will be the small and medium-sized businesses, and their employees will be our ultimate end-users.

www.betterworks.com Although the functionalities of our product and the Brazilian market is different than BetterWorks', our multi-dimensional customer base and value propositions to them are exactly the same. Their site is very good at communicating the value propositions to each one, and we based our mockup on their site. We'd like to maintain a similar style to BetterWorks, but with variations. We like the sky-blue motif they have, but we'd love to see design options that vary the layout and color schemes.

It's very bare-bones, but you can click around on the links to see the various pages we have mocked up. (We DO NOT need designs for About Us, Motivation, Contact Us pages.) General comments: --The general objective is to capture the interest of our multi-dimensional customer base and get them to sign up: companies, their employees, and merchants that provide the services/products. --Our mockup is center-aligned and we didn't pay much attention to pixel width/height. Please feel free to play around w/ these dimensions. --The mockup is done in English, but our site ultimately will be in Portuguese, so no graphic texts please (except our attached logo.) --We don't want our site to look "corporate" and dry; we'd like a style that's fun/creative/innovative/simple, yet also trustworthy. --We've attached the pics used in our mockup here (we have rights to use them). There are a few extra we didn't use, feel free to use any of them or not, switch them around, alter them, etc. or design your own that we can use. --For our logo, feel free to separate the name from the logo, separate Motivação from Coletiva, etc. --Navigation menu at bottom should leave space for other links not in mockup (e.g., privacy policy, terms of use, etc.) Home page: --Should illustrate what we do. We've attempted to lay out a simple diagram that explains our business model (discounts/perks for employees of companies), but we'd love to see ideas for how this can be improved. For Companies and Employees page: --Should illustrate how the system works for them --Communicate benefits to Companies and Employees --We'd like a way to highlight the Pricing box (our service is relatively cheap). Feel free to be creative with this. For Merchants page: --Should illustrate how the system works for them --Communicate benefits to Merchants --We'd like a way to highlight that it's free to participate in our network for Merchants. Feel free to be creative with this.

Again, we don't want our site to feel very "corporate". We need to appeal to small/medium businesses and merchants and appear trustworthy, but we also need to keep in mind that normal, everyday people (the employees), will be our ultimate end users.
