We are looking to hire at least one artist to create artistic looking playing cards, starting with the King of Hearts.
Please see the attached examples. Note that we *do not want you to copy the styles* in these examples. We want you to illustrate the card in *your own* artistic style.
If your art is accepted as one of the winners, we will commission at least 12 more playing cards from you in a separate job.
The card itself should have 2.5 x 3.5 dimensions.
The base color for the card can be light/white, dark, or red.
The card does not have to be mirrored. I realize the examples are all mirrored but it is not a requirement.

We are not looking for generic cards. We want you to be aggressively creative.
We have attached 4 playing cards as examples of some artistic playing cards. It appears the top and bottom of the cards are cut off when i mouse over the attachments. If you download them you can see them in full.
