So I used my whole experience in direct marketing to come up with a design that incorporates all the demanded elements, adding a simple call-to-action. When the contest finished, this proposal was unique compared to the other designs. Than the CH decided to extend the contest - and all the new proposals looked a bit like twins of this one. And I learned by the way that the concept was not so bad.")

Legible copy, giving unexperienced people like me a quick overview at the first glance. So I designed the instructions of use by a line of small icons and added another design pattern to show the specific characteristics of the product.")

And since the company's logo is framed by a square element, I came up with a proposal based on squares. Core idea was to make the receiver curious about the content and delivering the core message step by step when opening. Since the company is located in Canada, I took technical icons for illustrations, such as used by Canadian electricians when designing wire plans (don't ask how many hours I wasted to gather that information ;-) At the end the contest holder awarded a letter-sized conventional design.")
