My goal for her site was to give potential readers that same richness and depth—before they ever turn a page.
By weaving together layered visuals, multimedia touches, and intentional pacing, the site becomes its own kind of story and a piece of Melissa’s author identity. Visitors discover who she is, why she writes the way she does, and how her life experiences inform her worlds. For Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Morgan Roberts, the balance between expertise and approachability is critical to her business philosophy. My job was to translate that into a cohesive visual identity and website that would feel inviting, trustworthy, and infused with her personality.
A Logo That Sets the Tone
We began with a new logo, which needed to convey a confident modernity with a softness that reflected Morgan’s warmth and individualized approach. The defining feature of the workmark is a bold, curvy font that establishes a design-forward, professional look while keeping the mood light and approachable. This balance is ideal for a health-based brand, where trust and relatability must work hand in hand.")

Each element functions like a carefully framed view, placed with the same attention to proportion and context that defines the architecture it represents.
The homepage sets the tone with a single, immersive full-bleed image. The logo and navigation are the only visible elements, and even they sit quietly in the frame. To add a sense of ceremony, entry is preceded by a brief splash screen with the studio name and a subtle fade transition.
The rest of the site follows suit: clean, clear, and structured with intent. Ample white space gives each page room to breathe and creates a sense of calm pacing throughout.")

The homepage opens with a full-bleed image from their portfolio. That decision to let the visuals speak first sets the mood for everything that follows. Throughout the rest of the homepage, large photographs continue to anchor the site, with text layered sparingly in curated sections. Each one is selected for color, movement, and mood, not just variety.
The site introduces a scrapbook-inspired layout in key sections. This approach allows images to be shown in varied scales and alignments, mimicking the feel of a physical album. It evokes tangibility, as though you’re flipping through a beautifully curated collection of moments, not browsing a gallery on a screen.")

Whimsical celestial illustrations create a symbolic framework, echoing the name, of course, but also representing the phases of life that Luna Revival helps clients move through: birth, expansion, growth, and transformation.
The color palette does a quiet but essential job of anchoring the visual identity.
