The company wanted a new, fresh, modern looking website that clearly showed visitors what Kowhai could do, along with clear call to actions throughout the site.
HLD created a colour theme based on the supplied logo designs, and added a distinctive creative touch with interactive particles on the home page (which both we and the client love!). Animations were also added to each page header to continue the look, and the use of yellow to make information sections and call-to-action buttons ‘pop’.
Site also includes online booking software, custom icons, and animations.")

Resources were blog posts with embedded Google documents. Due to the number of resources, members would need a filter function.
Using the main brand colours of orange, purple and teal, we designed each page with bold sections, sourced appropriate imagery, designed custom icons, and used the copy provided by Rise with OPHR to structure each page. Two member areas were set up with specific content placed behind each paywall. Example content on the regular site was disabled so that visitors would need to sign up to to a plan in order to access the content in full.")

They asked Hot Lizard Designs to apply a little design magic and elevate their current Squarespace site ready for launch.
We changed the layout for each page, creating more white space so that the existing copy could be easily read / scanned, and sourced appropriate high resolution royalty free imagery to tie in with the theme of sustainable recruitment. The logo colour was used as the accent colour throughout the site for consistency to bring the whole site together.
Site redesign was completed in 24 hours.")

A strong red gradient background was added for the hero image as well as banner images for the main pages. The store was also redesigned to make it easier for visitors to browse before purchasing, and additional design features such as on-page scrolling links were added. Site completed within a week.")

They were able to supply the copy and a gradient background image, and needed a designer to help with the creative input and some graphic design. They also need the site to be up and live within a week.
Following a Skype call to get a better understanding of the company and the direction they wanted to go with their website design, Hot Lizard Designs had a draft site ready for review within 2 days. Additional content such as profile pictures and bios were supplied by DataSeed, and the site was completed within the deadline, with regular emails and calls between HLD and DataSeed for feedback and updates.
The DataSeed website follows the brand guidelines sent through by DataSeed, with additional custom design features including:

- semi-transparent header

The redesign brief was to create a modern, professional website that highlighted the medical and health aspects of the business, as well as prominently feature the education and expertise of the management team and medical advisory board.
As the logo for Cannvalate features a bright blue and green colour scheme, the decision was made to use one as an accent colour for the site, with the majority of the site in monochrome.")

By his own admission, it could have looked better, and he was wanting a more professional image online, that reflected his brand, was easy to navigate, and was attractive to potential and existing clients.
To give a more cohesive look, the images were given a blue overlay, so they didn’t detract from the brand colours. Neetu was able to supply additional text to explain his services and products in more detail, and higher resolution images were added to the online store. As a little extra design touch, HLD added customised bullet points that matched the logo.
The overall result looks great, and there is still room for Neetu to add additional services and online products as his business grows and changes.")

The site design involved sourcing new images, matching the colour scheme and fonts to the logo, and designing customised icons and favicon. It was important to maintain a clean look with plenty of white background, and easy navigation around the site for visitors.")
