Recently, my business partner and I needed to have a logo made for our new business. We had only the name and colors picked out but were unsure how to go about making our name stand out, so we asked designers to come up with their own concepts. 99designs is a cost effective method to crowdsource creativity and global design thinking to deliver solid marketing and businessness identity materials. I found the key was reviewing the work of a scope of designers, and "inviting" those who had designs in the genre that I preferred. Every designer that I invited (some 10 of them) responded, and 7 delivered designs. I also provided private short comments for most every design submitted, and found the designers with top level reactivity. Initially, I wrote a good one page brief with clear instructions, about what I did want, and what would not work. I wanted solid design, not just using the letters of the name, and putting a glow on them, but the creativity that takes understanding how to convey in an abstract iconic figure of a difficult concept. The designers did an excellent job!

Greatest invention for business marketing ever!

Great website. We enjoyed coming home each night and checking on our designs. The designers were friendly and efficient. The designs were creative and encompassed everything our brief had set out. What a great concept and company. Thank you!
